ACAL National Summit 2017


Our next ACAL National Summit will be on 8 and 9 March 2017, at the Country Club Villas in Launceston, Tasmania. However, we encourage you to come early from Tuesday 7 March to Friday 10 March and enjoy some down-time with your spouse.

This year we are separating the Summit registration fee from the accommodation costs.

Summit Registration Fee

The Cost of the ACAL Summit will be $200 for ACAL Members and $275 for Non -ACAL Members and is payable by Wed 1 February 2017. It will be held in the Donegal Room.

You will need to book and pay for your own accommodation this Summit. We have reserved 20 one-bedroom self-contained villas at $135 per night under The Southern Cross Association of Churches, ‘ACAL Conference’. Each room has a queen size bed and a fully equipped kitchenette. You can prepare your own meals (breakfasts and dinners) or eat at any of the onsite restaurants, pizzeria or grill. A lounge room area is also included, with a pull down double bed in the lounge, which makes the villa suitable for up to four people (or two couples) sharing. Additional adults (two included in room rate quoted) are $40 per person per night.

You will need to book your own flight into Launceston airport. It is about a 15km drive from Launceston Airport to the Country Club Villas so you may wish to look at car hire. You can hire a car from the airport from around $43+ per day. Alternatively, taxi fares will cost you $40-50 dollars up to 20km one way. Please look at carpooling with others you know to help reduce your costs.

Dave Hodgson

Dave Hodgson grew up in Africa during the turbulent ’60s and ’70s.  He was conscripted into the Rhodesian Army at age 17 and joined the SAS.  He fought behind enemy lines against two armies across three countries for four years.

Following his time in the SAS, Dave joined the highly secretive Selous Scouts and fought undercover with that unit and served as a Tracking Instructor for a further four years.  He then left the Special Forces and fought as a mercenary for two years.

Forced to leave Zimbabwe and stateless, Dave became a commercial saturation diver in the oil fields of South East Asia and Japan. Eventually he immigrated to Australia, where he came to know the Lord Jesus during an amazing encounter with the Lord at a Reinhart Bonnke Crusade in Perth.

These days, Dave is the Founder and CEO of the Paladin Group of Companies which controls over $420 million worth of Business Acquisitions and sophisticated Private Equity Investments. Paladin has interests in Coal Mining, IT, Water Infrastructure, Health and Fitness, Telco Asset Management, and Investment Banking.

In 2007 Dave and Ps Dan O’Farrell founded Kingdom Investors (KI), a marketplace ministry which is domiciled at CityEdge Church on the Sunshine Coast and has spread around Australia and Overseas.  KI is heading up a strategic vision to create the world’s first “Sheep Nation” as portrayed by Jesus Himself in Matthew 25.

At KI Dave teaches why the Lord used him to build a $100 million business from scratch, with no money, in less than 3 years, and how to attract the favour of the Lord to your business so that your business can multiply with a view to participating in a national strategy to create what the Lord has always wanted – “Sheep Nations” in the earth.

Teaching is derived from the Bible and directly from over 25 years’ experience of frontline Kingdom business.


John Dingemanse

John Dingemanse is a Kingdom entrepreneur who has founded and operated numerous businesses in a range of industry sectors including Property, Professional Services, Construction and Engineering, Telecommunications, Water Management and Resources.

John is highly regarded for his creative strength, passion for innovation and focus on true sustainability. As both a business and social entrepreneur he has received national acclaim for his achievements; while his company’s projects have received numerous awards for innovation and sustainability.

John’s vision is to see Kingdom leaders in business, church and government work together strategically.

In addition to his roles in various companies, John serves on the Board of a number of community organisations including Freelife Church, iSEE Church and Impact Group.
